The Winter Desert (TWD) was created for the pilot television show Project Warehouse (2021), a sustainable fashion competition. In participation,
talented young fashion designers compete in a series of challenges to win an opportunity to have their garments for sale in a retail location.
Young designers must source all materials from a warehouse of used materials in 30 minutes.
In the first round they must create a garment, and if they succeed must create a 4 look collection to be judged.

The Winter Desert is inspired by the sand dunes of the Sahara and the trope of a desert traveller.
The shapes and silhouettes mimic that of dunes while the accessories and adornments act as symbols of the
literal and metaphorical treasure those who cross the desert are always in search of.

TWD Collection placed 2nd in the Project Warehouse Competition.
